Words...

I was contacted today by someone who knew one of Oakland's homicide victims. I'll be honest and say that I never really expected anyone to take notice, especially someone so closely related to a name on one of these plates. It has rocked my world a bit. This post is titled "Words" and now I am at a loss for them. I have often wondered what "spiritual" interventions might affect me more deeply, and today it happened. If I am feeling some sort of pain in this experience, I'm not sure I can imagine the pain of those whose lives are more closely interwoven with these victims.
